Four Ways to Promote a Positive Brand Image Online

Located in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Ernie Ross is the creator of the trademarked branding philosophy and personal development program known as Intangience, and the founder of ReThink. Ernie Ross of Trinidad oversees initiatives at ReThink, an established organizational and transformation center, and has assisted numerous high-profile brands in promoting a positive image.

Organizations must focus on promoting a positive brand image in order to prosper in the marketplace. Below are four key ways to promote a positive brand online.

1. Show off your successes. Among the most powerful brand marketing strategies, showcasing customer success stories helps customers believe in your business over others and boosts your company’s reputation.

2. Have an online presence. Online social media platforms are an essential tool for marketing and customer service. Every business should provide an opportunity for customers to connect over social media and explore the company’s online presence.

3. Find out what consumers are saying about your brand. It’s important for businesses to monitor the web for mentions of their brand and to learn what customers are saying about it. Services such as Brand24 and Google Alerts makes this easy as keywords related to a specific service or product or the company’s name can be tracked.

4. Deal with negative feedback. Negative feedback published online should be addressed quickly by engaging with any dissatisfied customers and resolved adequately to protect a business's online brand reputation. Displaying online comments regarding how any negative situations were resolved may also help to promote the brand in a positive light and prove that consumer satisfaction is a priority for the business.

ReThink Celebrates World Kindness Day

As the founder of ReThink in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Ernie Ross leads an organization that leverages the personal development philosophy of Intangience to help individuals attain enlightenment and purpose. In addition to helping people achieve happiness, Ernie Ross and ReThink create events and other programs to spread kindness across Trinidad and Tobago and beyond.

Complementing the organization’s own kindness initiatives such as volunteer opportunities and school-based happiness workshops, ReThink drives awareness of global events such as World Kindness Day. Taking place on November 13 each year, World Kindness Day is an initiative of the international World Kindness Movement consortium that asks participants to reflect on kindness in their lives and to identify acts of kindness in the community.

In Trinidad and Tobago, ReThink celebrated 2018 World Kindness Day by partnering with companies such as Najim & Sons, a popular purveyor of the street food known as “doubles,” to provide free food to all guests on November 13. In addition to two free doubles, each guest received a “Kindness Card” specially designed for the day by ReThink.

ReThink also expanded awareness of the special day through specific social media promotions. Finally, the organization sent kindness emissaries into the streets to interview the country’s citizens about what kindness means to them.

The Concept of Wellfulness

In his role at Rethink, Ernie Ross of Trinidad leads his organization in developing initiatives including individual health coaching and meditation sessions to promote the concept of wellfulness.

Wellfulness describes a state of balance regarding the spiritual, emotional, physical, psychological, and social aspects of a group or an individual. Practicing wellfulness is also imperative to being successful in achieving a higher quality of life.

Practicing wellness may include healthy eating, exercising, creating actionable goals, identifying a vision, changing negative habits, and being proactive. Wellfulness is essential to living an optimal life, since research shows that people who make healthy lifestyle choices reduce their risk of illness, manage their stress levels better, increase their productivity, have lower healthcare costs, and live longer.

Project Happiness Comes to Trinidad and Tobago

Ernie Ross has functioned as chief executive officer and creative director of Ross Advertising in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, since 1982. In 2012, Ernie Ross expanded his professional activities by founding ReThink, also in Trinidad and Tobago.

ReThink has partnered with Project Happiness, an American-based, non-governmental organization, to bring the benefits of the Project Happiness curriculum to local children. Specific lesson topics range from gratitude to tolerance, while also educating children about the power of empathy and how to identify and embrace their individual strengths.

Project Happiness recognizes that these and related skills are rarely taught in traditional classroom settings, leaving some children at an emotional or social disadvantage that can worsen over time. Project Happiness education has been incorporated into schools and communities in more than 80 countries. It is the first service of its kind to be integrated into the Trinidad and Tobago education system.
