ReThink Helps Bring Project Happiness Curriculum to Trinidad

A resident of Port of Spain, Trinidad, Ernie Ross developed the trademarked branding philosophy and personal development program called ‘Intangience’ and is also the founder of ReThink. At ReThink, a personal and organizational transformation center, Ernie Ross directs initiatives including wellness programs and the company’s involvement in Project Happiness operations in Trinidad and Tobago.

An American nongovernmental organization, Project Happiness is an educational curriculum designed to teach children how to cultivate happiness. Implemented in schools and community groups around the world, the Project Happiness curriculum has been taught in over eighty countries.

Through Project Happiness, children learn how to recognize their individual strengths and express tolerance, empathy, and gratitude. The goal of the program is to teach children these skills from an early age so they are better equipped socially and emotionally to cope with challenges in their own lives.

Project Happiness is a teacher-friendly program consisting of step by step lessons that nurture social and emotional learning (SEL). Key skills developed in SEL include taking responsibility, handling emotions, coping with challenges, and demonstrating care.
